"I study Voice Performance (Classical) at Towson University." How long have you been singing in choirs? "Seven years." What is your favorite musical memory? "I had an impromptu performance with a friend who is a pianist before a concert in Tuscany and we quasi-sightread through one of my favorite art songs in a beautiful concert hall." Do you have any special talents or interests outside of music? "Archery!" Who is your favorite composer? "Claude Debussy." Who's your favorite non-classical musical artist? "The Weeknd." What song have you not been able to stop listening to? "Wolfcat by Still Woozy." If you could turn anything purple, what would it be? "My eyes or hair." Are you a morning person or a night owl? "Yes." If you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? "Either Philippe Petit or Henri Michaux." What's the most interesting fact about you? "I played violin for 10 years." |
Tori Delgado just completed her second season with Lux! She is 20 years old, from New York, NY. After privately studying with Dr. Malinda Haslett for four years, she is now studying classical voice and business at Towson University, working as part of the Writing Fellow Program. Tori's credits include Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance), and Lucy (The Telephone). Despite voice being her primary instrument, she has also studied the violin for the past ten years.
