Tickets
Please be sure to bring your tickets with you to ensure an efficient check-in process. We encourage the use of electronic/mobile tickets to limit paper waste. (Of course, printed tickets will also be accepted. If printing a ticket, note that we only need the first page of each ticket — the one with our logo on it. The second page is added by our ticketing software automatically, but we don’t need it.)
Program notes
Our full program notes are available online. We encourage you to read them before attending or to view them on your phone during the program. Short-form printed programs (which list titles and composers, but do not include notes) will be available to patrons at the venue.
Health and safety
- We strongly encourage the wearing of face masks to protect our musicians, staff, and patrons, but it is not required. We will provide masks at the door for any patron who wishes to have one.
- Our musicians will perform without masks.
- Proof of vaccination is no longer required at Lux concerts. We continue to encourage our patrons to stay up-to-date on their COVID vaccinations.

Parking
- There is a paid garage located one block from the church: One Franklin Square garage. The vehicle entrance to the garage is located on 13th St between K & L streets, and the pedestrian entrance is located at 1301 K St NW. The garage is staffed 24/7 in case you need assistance.
- Please note that the information on the church’s website about parking passes for the garage applies only to church services. You will need to pay for parking if you choose to park in the garage.
- It may be helpful to use apps such as SpotHero to reserve parking in advance. One Franklin Square garage is listed on SpotHero as “1010 13th St. NW (1301 K St. NW) - Garage.”
- While street parking is available in the area, we strongly recommend that you plan to park in a garage, as street parking is likely to be limited and time-consuming. If you do plan to street park, we strongly encourage you to allow ample time to find parking. More information about parking is available on the church’s website.
Dress code
There is no dress code for Lux concerts. Dress however makes you feel comfortable. At our concerts, some patrons are typically “business casual,” some dress more formally, and some will be wearing more casual attire like jeans and t-shirts. However you choose to dress, we’re glad you’re joining us.
Timing and other notes
- We plan to start promptly at 7:00 PM. We strongly encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes before the concert begins so that you have time to check in and find seats. Doors will open at 6:30 PM.
- The concert will last approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes, including one 15 minute intermission.
- There will not be a formal reception after the concert, but we hope you will stick around and say hello afterwards. We love getting to meet new friends and greet old ones.
- There will be no in-person box office for this event. However, tickets will remain available on our website until 7:30 PM on concert day (half an hour after the concert starts). Let your friends and family know about the concert!
