While we have had to say quite a few goodbyes this past week, we are ecstatic to welcome back soprano Eby Buscher from Urbania, Italy! As an artist in the Si Parla, Si Canta summer program, she took intensive Italian classes, studied Italian art song with elite vocal coaches, and performed opera scenes in recitals across Italy. We're excited for Eby to join us for the July portion of our season: she'll be singing with us on our recording project this month, and you can see her in our July 22 concert! Enjoy pictures below of her time in Italy.

Missed our Hyattsville, MD concert? Just want to relive the moments? We've got you covered! We've updated our Photos page, newly equipped with photos from our June 17 performance of A Journey of Life. Thank you again to all who attended, who supported us in every way, and who gave such wonderful compliments afterwards. We had a wonderful time, and we hope you did, too. Enjoy some scenes from the night here. It's recording day! Another exciting day was filled with Tavener, Whitacre, Barber, and more at Georgetown Preparatory School's beautiful Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes. We also had a new and exciting addition in our session today: To bolster our low basses this time around, we invited a mentor of many of our founding members, Mr. James L. Turk (lovingly known as "Coach"), who was the high school director of many of our tenors and basses at DeMatha High School. He was such a treat to sing with, and provided much inspiration for us all in speaking with us throughout the day. Keep an eye out for new releases from both this session and our last session. Recording projects are piling up and we're so excited to release them to you! While you wait for that, enjoy some scenes (and Snapchats) from the day... |
